How to Install Spiderfoot

The easiest way to install Spiderfoot is by using the Spiderfoot Github repository.  Just follow the directions immediately below:

Install Spiderfoot from Github:

git clone https://github.com/smicallef/spiderfoot.git
cd spiderfoot
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
python3 ./sf.py -l 127.0.0.1:5001

 

Install Spiderfoot with Docker:

Use this Spiderfoot Docker tutorial to run Spiderfoot using the "stock" built-in Dockerfile that's included with Spiderfoot.  Or try the Spiderfoot Docker Container file.

Here's how to install Spiderfoot using Docker (the easy way):

git clone https://github.com/smicallef/spiderfoot.git

cd spiderfoot

docker build -t spiderfoot .

docker run -p 5009:5001 -d spiderfoot

Install Spiderfoot from repository:

wget https://github.com/smicallef/spiderfoot/archive/v3.4.tar.gz
tar zxvf v3.4.tar.gz
cd spiderfoot
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
python3 ./sf.py -l 127.0.0.1:5001

 

How to Use Spiderfoot

Open your browser and type 127.0.0.1:5009 into the address bar

If that doesn't work, replace 5009 with 5001.
