I made two scripts today:

OLED Raspberry Pi prompt to save WiFi password
OLED Prompt to Reconnect to Previously-Saved WiFi

The asksave.py script:

  1. Displays 4 lines of text loaded from a specific txt file
  2. Sets the default selection to "2", which is "Yes" (counting from 0, "Yes" appears at line #2 in the txt file)
  3. Limits the selection to just #2 (Yes) or #3 (No)
  4. Cycles through the selections (holding down the Up button will cycle from Yes to No and vice versa)
  5. Saves the selected response to a text file (wifisave.txt)

The askreconnect.py script:

  1. Displays 5 lines of text loaded from a specific txt file (1 of the lines is actually skipped and replaced with the saved SSID)
  2. Sets the default selection to "Yes"
  3. Limits the selection to #2 (Yes), #3 (No), or #4 (Yes + remember)
  4. Cycles through selections
  5. Saves the selected response to txt file (wificfg.txt)
